Service Details
Established in 1980, Krishna Temple Zürich has been steadily expanding its activities. To support the continued development of our community, we are seeking qualified and dedicated individuals who feel inspired to take up responsible service in Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission.
Opportunities are currently available within leadership, management, and administrative service areas. We are looking for devotees who are able to work cooperatively within an established organizational structure and contribute positively to the growth and stability of the community.
What you can expect:
• Gradual introduction to the service through personal guidance of existing leadership
• A responsible service position within Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission
• Opportunity for active contribution to the development of the yatra
• Association of a stable and dynamic devotional community in a major European metropolis
• Coverage of personal needs (food, accommodation, health insurance, travel expenses, allowance, etc.)
• Support leadership, management, or administrative functions within the temple community
• Work cooperatively within an established organizational structure
• Assist in strengthening and developing the local yatra
• Participate responsibly and professionally in assigned services
• Contribute positively to the devotional culture of the local community
• Ideally initiated in ISKCON for leadership/management roles, or sincerely aspiring toward initiation for administrative responsibilities
• Readiness to adapt to an existing organizational structure
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Experience in similar fields (leadership or management experience within ISKCON or the secular world). If not, willingness and capability to undergo training for the service
• Adaptability to the mood and culture of the local community
Preferred Qualifications
• Belonging to a particular ashrama and following the standard lifestyle of that ashrama
• Ideally, having an EU citizenship (to facilitate obtaining a residence permit for Switzerland)
